“I had the pleasure to work with Bud as an Agile Coach with his teams and individually as a leadership coach. In all contexts, I found Bud to be curious, committed to learning and growth, and determined to create a psychologically safe environment for those who report to him and for his colleagues across the organisation. He cares deeply about being a good leader and creating the space for his team to thrive. Any organisation would be lucky to have him.”

How can you encourage knowledge sharing in an Agile culture?
I agree with this being the #1 spot. It's also the most difficult yet rewarding. If your team is psychologically safe then a lot of other things are unlocked. Psychological safety starts with us as leaders admitting our mistakes and that we are not perfect multiple times, no matter how uncomfortable that feels. You can remain confident and be respected by your team(s) and peers even if you admit that you are wrong and you don't know everything.

As a Social Convenor, I'm responsible to organize internal and external club events to attract new members, raise the visibility of our club in the city as well as create fun opportunities for existing members to attend.

I work closely with the club board and the head coach to achieve those goals, as well as stay in contact with the club members to understand what people need and want.
As a Board member trustee, I work together with the board members to ensure our club is in good order with all our government requirements. -

As encouraged by the head coach at the club I joined and completed the Assistant Coach training. I am now LTA qualified and I'm equipped to run group sessions for adults (Tennis Xpress) or kids (LTA Youth) assisted by a head coach.
I'm passionate about using my tennis coaching skills to support any program we have at the club and ensure everyone is having a great time, from the kids.

All the effort that went into getting this accreditation was worth it when I was able to step in and hold the kid's session for our club during the biggest event of the year - West End Open Doors. The alternative was to cancel the kids' event meaning the kids and the parents that wanted to join the event could not attend.
I'm very grateful for all the support from my club and the head coach through the start of this journey and the continuation of it.
